Structural & Core Building Guarantees

25-Year Structural SIPs Guarantee

All Heritage buildings are constructed using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to form the walls, floors and roof structure.

Every building benefits from a 25-year structural guarantee covering the structural integrity of the SIPs system when installed and maintained in accordance with our specifications.

50-Year Roof System Guarantee

We specify high-performance roof systems designed for long-term weather protection and durability.

  • Up to 50-year manufacturer-backed guarantee on approved roof membranes and systems

  • Installed strictly in line with manufacturer guidance

  • Warranty passed directly to the client in full

25-Year Ground Screw Foundation Guarantee

Where ground screws are specified, buildings are supported on engineered ground screw foundation systems designed for long-term structural stability.

  • 25-year manufacturer-backed guarantee on the ground screw system

  • Suitable for a wide range of ground conditions

  • Minimal ground disturbance and fully engineered load performance

This guarantee applies to the ground screw system itself and is passed on to the client in full, subject to manufacturer terms and correct installation.

Cladding, Windows & External Systems

We use a wide range of premium, manufacturer-approved external finishes and systems. Warranty periods vary by product type and manufacturer.

Cladding Systems

All external cladding is covered by manufacturer warranties, which are passed directly to the client. These may include:

  • Natural timbers (e.g. Larch, Cedar, Thermowood)

  • Modified timbers (e.g. Accoya®, Abodo®)

  • Composite and engineered boards (e.g. Millboard®)

  • Metal and standing seam systems

Specific warranty lengths are confirmed at specification stage and included in your project documentation.

Windows & Doors

Approved UK manufacturers supply all aluminium and uPVC windows and doors.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to frames, finishes and glazed units

  • Sliding, bi-fold and entrance door systems included

  • Warranties are passed on in full to the client

Internal Components & Installed Systems

Many internal components are supplied with their own manufacturer’s warranties, which are passed on in full where applicable. These may include:

  • Heating systems and controls

  • Electrical components and lighting

  • Kitchens, appliances and worktops

  • Bathroom fittings and sanitaryware

  • Flooring systems

Warranty periods vary by product and manufacturer.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Every Heritage building is supplied with a detailed aftercare and maintenance guide.

Correct maintenance:

  • Preserves appearance and performance

  • Protects manufacturer warranties

  • Maximises the long-term lifespan of your building

Warranty Conditions

Where a defect arises:

  • The client must notify  Heritage Living Group in writing as soon as the defect becomes apparent

  • The defect must be proven to result from faulty design, materials or workmanship

  • The aftercare guide must have been followed

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to third-party supplied products and are passed on in full

Where applicable, we will repair or replace defective items at our discretion, or refund the value of the faulty component where appropriate.
